MILC welcomes you with a variety of ways to make your stay enjoyable:

1) Homestays

Feel at home away from home! Montreal is renowned for its hospitality and many families open their homes to international students. Staying with a Canadian family is a great way to meet new friends, improve your English or French and learn about all the amazing things to see and do in the city. Younger students will feel less lonely—and safer and supported—while they study.

The MILC matches students and host families based on a student’s needs and preferences. Meals and a private, furnished room are provided in your host’s home and their family will encourage you to participate in family and community activities.

You’ll be welcomed the moment you arrive! The MILC can arrange for a school representative or homestay family to meet you at the airport when you arrive.

The package includes:

  • A single room in a private residence
  • A choice of three (3) meal plans: no meals, two meals or three meals per day
