Our Languages-Canada-accredited intensive language courses are ideal for those looking to brush-up their language skills or pursue further studies at the College or enhance their career prospects. Our 10 proficiency levels integrate four skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing. Montreal International Language Centre offers small class sizes that provide a more personalized and friendly learning environment. Language courses start every month.
Speaking another language opens doors, but learning it at a language school in a country where it is spoken facilitates learning. It’s easier, fun, more effective, and leads to a deeper understanding of one’s own—and other—cultures.
Whatever your level of English or French, the Montreal International Language Center has a program to meet your needs. Our language courses were developed for students to either develop their language skills for professional purposes or to continue in their academic studies.
You’ll learn to communicate quickly and effectively. That’s because our Intensive Language Courses focus on the four most important aspects of learning a language: reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
You can enroll in an English or French language course at any time of the year. Full-time language courses range from four weeks to 50 weeks.
A course to meet your needs:

* On the first day of class, all students take a placement test to assess their current language abilities and match them to the most suitable course for their level. To progress to the next level, a student must receive a final mark of 70% on their exit test. In the unlikely event of a course cancellation due to insufficient registration, you may replace the Intensive immersion courses with private or semi-private classes.
